The Wedding Ceremony - $200
The Prelude
Welcome your guests at the church by offering beautiful music, perhaps light classical for the 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. This will create a wonderful atmosphere and sense of occasion, creating a talking point while waiting for the arrival of the bridal party.
The Processional
You may want to remain steadfast to tradition and hear The Wedding March play as you walk down the aisle, but there is nothing stopping you from having a favourite piece that has a special meaning to you both as bride and groom. This is the moment for the bride and all eyes will be on her. This piece will probably be the most significant piece of music for the bride to choose for the wedding
Signing of the Register
Music chosen for the signing of the register should be discreet and subtle while the bride and groom disappear into the vestry for this most important part of the ceremony. You may need to choose up to three pieces of music to fill time while your guests wait in the church.
The Recessional
The serious part of the ceremony is complete and now is a time to celebrate this most joyous occasion. You will want to hear uplifting and joyous music as the congregation leaves the church.
The Wedding Reception
$200 for the first hour ($75 for each additional hour)
Symposium
This is all about form, meeting and greeting. Music choice for your symposium is important so as to set the mood. Very gentle background music as an accompaniment should be chosen here as conversation is key at this part of the reception.
Wedding Dinner
Music played during the meal really helps relax guests and offers a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. Everyone can now sit back relax and enjoy the meal. It is important that music choice here in unobtrusive and gentle so that it is simply background music to be enjoyed. It should blend quietly, but should still be entertaining and relevant to the bride and groom. Classical music at this stage of the wedding is usually a popular choice and lends a luxurious ambience to the occasion.
